🎾 WHAT HAPPENS IN A DEAF TENNIS SESSION?

A Friendly, Progressive 60-Minute Session

Sessions are adapted around the players attending, their communication preferences, experience and goals.

👋 1. WELCOME & CHECK-IN

We begin by welcoming everyone and explaining what will happen during the session.

Players can let the coach know about their preferred communication style.

👀 2. VISUAL WARM-UP

The session begins with accessible warm-up and movement activities.

🎾 3. TENNIS SKILLS

We can work on:

🎾 Forehands
🎾 Backhands
🎯 Serving

 

🧠 4. VISUAL TACTICS & GAME UNDERSTANDING

Players can develop:

🎯 Shot selection
📍 Court positioning
🧠 Decision-making

 

🏆 5. GAMES & MATCH PLAY

Players can put their skills into practice through fun games, points and appropriate match play
